In 2008 at the request of Lions International, District 33-A initiated the Lions Young Ambassador of the 21st Century award. We were extremely pleased with the response and quite astonished with the outstanding accomplishments of the applicants.
This is not a lot of work for your Club. You will find the instructions and form by clicking the button below. Please download the form, read the requirements, noting the deadlines, and offer this opportunity to your local High School. The award will be presented to the winning candidate at the Mid-Winter Saturday luncheon.

THE ONLY REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR CLUB ARE AS FOLLOWS:

The award will be presented to the winning candidate at the Mid-Winter Saturday luncheon.
Enclosed is the criterion for this year’s sponsorship
- No Chairperson required.
- No Club judges or judging required.
- No composing instructions or filling out applications.
- No fee is required.
THE ONLY REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR CLUB ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Provide the enclosed instructions and application form to the High School in your community.
- Present your candidate with a suitable cash award for being chosen as a Lions Young Ambassador of the 21st Century.
- Forward the completed application no later than Friday, December, 23, 2022.
- If your candidate is selected as the “Young Ambassador of the 21st Century” the Mid-Winter Conference Committee will be responsible for providing the candidate's meal expense at the Conference. Your club will be responsible for providing the meal expense for his/her parent(s)/guardian(s) during the Saturday noon luncheon at the Mid-Winter conference on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Anyone else that wishes to attend the ceremony will be welcome at their own expense.
