Club Community Aid
The purpose of this fund is to provide clubs with seed money to start service projects. Smaller clubs and clubs with limited resources can use this fund to help with a project that arises from a community need, and does not have money earmarked for the need. The scope of these projects is broken down into two areas:
1] To start an ongoing service fundraiser to benefit the community. Funds could be used to purchase necessary material to start project. This could be used towards advertising and promotion of event.
2] This is designed to help the club with a service project needed in their community for a one-time need. This could be used to help speed up help that is needed in the community.
3] An application form would need to be filled out and approved by the Cabinet and signed by the District Governor.
4] Amount of aid not to exceed $250.
Club Community Aid has been voted as a Restricted Fund, so that if clubs wish to make a donation at Midwinter or at any other time, they can do so. This will help to keep the fund active.
